Pros

Fairly flexible schedule, you can create a good balance between work and life if you work hard and hire the right people. Pay is ok if you put in enough time.

Cons

Long hours during busy times of the year, like winter and holidays and sporting events.
Always on call after becoming upper management.
Coroprate and franchise owners have no idea and don't seem to care what the people on the front line have to go through to make them money.

Advice to Senior Management

Quit creating products and specials that make the people running your business kill them selves for very little profit.
Stick with proven products that built the company in the first place
