I worked at Planned Parenthood full-time (less than an year)

Pros

None. I was very excited to join this organization coming from another sector and to be close to home. I quickly realized that The CFO as well as the President of the company were completely unethical and incompetent. I was let go only after 4.5 weeks and was not given a chance to fully understand the companies systems, programs. Please be aware of accepting any Director or Controller roles within this organization since you may regret it. The person before me lasted only 2 months and was let go as well!!

Cons

- Horrible and disgusting management. I'm referring to the Senior Management.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Someone should replace them and hire stable ethical people.

I worked at Planned Parenthood full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

There are so many smart, experienced, talented medical professionals who've been with the organization for years because they care a lot about their mission to bring accessible, affordable healthcare to women in North Texas. They work long hours, have long memories and are dedicated as heck.

    Cons

The executive level was fraught with drama over jealousy, overpaid/underworked VPs who needed to leave years before, fear of standing up for the mission to the local business community and fear of younger employees unabashed {perceived as incautious} pride in the organization.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get new management, not glorified medical salespeople.
