I have been working at Plymouth Rock Assurance

    Pros

Location in Boston, but the building is old. The gym downstairs is good.

    Cons

Old, stale way of doing business. Not adaptable to today's competitive environment. They like to say they are different from other insurance companies, but they are not.
Computer systems are old and clunky.
A very unprofessional place. They don't promote people in the company and hire from the outside.
Training is a joke...I am in the customer service area and the management does not know what they are doing. I know other departments are the same way.
If you go here, plan to say for only a year, then move on. They don't pay well.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more genuine...no one really believes what Hal and Jim are saying.
