I have been working at Polo Ralph Lauren part-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The brand is awesome as well as the company as a whole. Mediocre discount. I'm almost positive all the cons are store specific.

    Cons

Nasty environment to work. Tourists sneeze anywhere including on the clothes. On top of this a majority of the time the store will be out of soap and germ sanitizer. While we're on the topic of health, summers th air conditioning barely works and winter is very brutal. They claim corporate won't pay for the air/heat to go any lower/higher despite that our store is the largest in the company. Management talk down on all their employees and even have made a mention that were their peasants. Payroll is always messed up and after every payday at least 15 employees are missing money from their checks. The turnover rate is astounding and if you polled every employee at least 90% are looking for new jobs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    They need new management.
