I worked at Polo Ralph Lauren full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

Amazing people, great product, tons of global values and treats vendors well.

Cons

Too much red tape, they allow you to work at a level you are not getting paid for several years until promotions pushed. A little frustrating

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on team members that exceed expectations and ensure they are taken care of as they leave for smaller houses to get the salary their titles command out of polo.

I have been working at Polo Ralph Lauren as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

I participated in the corporate intern program in the summer of 2013, and I found my experience to be very helpful for what I wanted to to. The fabric operations team was very busy, and sometimes needed to work late hours. Great discounts, and really nice people.

    Cons

Rumored to be relatively low paying.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Not sure.

I have been working at Polo Ralph Lauren as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

A wealth of information and training, exposure to the luxury world, fast paced work environment.

    Cons

As an intern, sometimes your managers are so busy that they forget you're there and you just sit around for a while.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take employees under your belt. RL promotes the "family" and some people to embrace that idea.
