I have been working at Polo Ralph Lauren full-time for more than a year

Pros

During the interview process and subsequent time spent in the office, they practice what they preach. Employees are encouraged to explore new areas of interest, seek out new opportunities, and make their own career path.

Cons

With a large company like Ralph Lauren, some processes are in place that slow down change. It often feels like there are too many directions the company is moving in.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

There is a brain drain happening across the board due to newer companies snatching up top talent. It may serve you well to increase benefits (401K match, healthcare costs, bonuses) for existing employees or suffer the after effects of all that experience walking out the door.

I have been working at Polo Ralph Lauren full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Lots to learn, great discounts and wonderful clothes. Employee sample sales are awesome. Reputable company. Gives back to the community.

    Cons

Low pay, employees are not valued, annual reviews are one-sided and achieve little when your boss stinks, upper management is not supportive. HR is utterly useless to say the least. Place is a revolving door.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try 360s for performance reviews. You lose great associates due to poor leaders who are not held accountable.
