I have been working at Polo Ralph Lauren

Pros

great opportunities and benefits, room to move around and grow. everyone has a love for the brand and there is a great deal of knowledge about the company shared by all employees.

Cons

Working and traveling to the NJ office is difficult and frustrating for those who do not live in NJ. time is wasted traveling to the office, especially with traffic

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow employees to work where they live so that they can be more efficient with their time and their resources

    Pros

Great discount, very cool company to work for. Every day is different, meeting new people all of the time. Ralph lauren is a genius

Management was at a minimum when i worked here so that may have affected my experience at the company negatively.

I worked at Polo Ralph Lauren

    Pros

Incredible opportunity to improve the company.
    Excellent marketing company.
    Strong brand.
    Very good products.

    Cons

    Poor office environment/decor.
    Poor morale.
    Poor communication.
    Genuine accomplishments go unrecognized.
Executive Management can't seem to provide leadership or vision.
Global company does not mean global cooperation.
    Many political challenges.
    Rampant cronyism.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Ensure all associates are treated fairly. Reassess skills of existing employees to determine who has genuine skill and knowledge -- reassign associates who are not qualified for their role. Recognize authentic accomplishments (not political snow jobs). Establish a strategic long-term vision. Install strong leaders (not just managers). Improve communications.
