I have been working at Polycom full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Still good products
    Weak competition
Sales force is absolutely free at what to sell, how to sell etc.
    Good compensation package

    Cons

Toughest management pressure I'v ever seen. Cisco is a mediterranian resort compared to PLCM
No attention to employee needs.. New product policy leads to company degradation.
Focus only at short term targets.Company slogan can be "Next quarter does not exist".
Seems that company has two-three years than it will be sold.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Weaken pressure and focus on strategy.

    Pros

Pretty good salary and benefits. Company is strong and respected player in video conferencing and VoIP.

    Cons

Not trusting executive a management . With all the internal events the company conducting quite often I feel that the company trying to sell to the employees why they should be happy to work for the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't let the good executives to leave. Don't run the company based on your own personal interest.
