I worked at Polycom full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Benefits were great, work-life balance good, excellent, friendly, helpful people just trying to do a good job. Always had latest and greatest technology on desks.

    Cons

Higher level managers a bit too power-crazy building their empires. Lost sight of what the company was all about - creating and developing awesome communication tools.

Too much change, too often in the past 4-5 years.

I have been working at Polycom full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great technology, flexible work policies (office and home work), good compensation.

    Cons

Constant churn in senior management, product quality issues, climate of fear, ridiculous internal politics the closer you get to HQ.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop making short-term, expedient decisions that have long-term, negative consequences. Invest in engineering resources to improve quality
