There are always opportunities to work on a help desk if that is your thing. It's a great place for entry level people to get started.
Cons
there is the promise of training, but no real training. It's difficult to invest any time into an employer that won't invest in it's people. Also, the company as a whole is very new to cloud services and data center infrastructure management. Also, management needs to push back with facts and figures, then take those numbers and utilize them to present and push real it solutions, even when the customer is cheap.
Advice to Senior Management
Get a spine and support the employees that have been there for you. Engineer solutions for the client and drive them home for the client. Know what the customer needs, even when they don't know what they want. And for the love of God, make sure that the scouting party knows what the hell they are doing when they negotiate a contract with a Fortune 500 company or it will come back to bite them in the ass.
