Pros

The people, the purpose and the benefits were all amazing

Cons

There was not much room to grow there unless you had extensive higher education.

    Pros

    It offered me the opportunity to work in different projects allowing me to expand my understanding of international development.

    Cons

    There is need to put a check on employee backstabbing. Also, the pay is not very encouraging.

    Motivate the workers, not concentration on cost saving.

    I have been working at Population Council full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    A knowledgable and personable staff who care about your career growth, a chance to take part in novel research, opportunity to strengthen skills to share and disseminate results and learn how to incorporate feedback

    Cons

    Sometimes seem to not assigned enough tasks to keep busy, people travel a lot and it is hard to pin them down to have the conversations you need
