Pros

-My store manager is AWESOME, and the shift leaders are young and friendly
-Discount! Whaddup half price sandwiches?
-Generally easy work. When you're on the line loading/dressing, it can get kind of tiring during the rushes, but non-rush periods are the easiest job ever

Cons

-I only make minimum wage.
-6AM opening shifts... ugh.
-Some of the certified trainers are pretty clueless.

I worked at Potbelly Sandwich Works

    Pros

Original Chicago culture of SIDEWAYS was great. It was a company that had a heart and really got it when it came to building a company around a culture. As it grew and demands from ownership on ROI were escalated, senior leadership and mid-level leadership were poor to execute in alignment with culture and core values. Talent drain occurred as they tried to grow too fast without the proper support/tools.

    Cons

Operations leadership is more "Get it done or else" than providing professional feedback and development

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure operations leadership walks the talk and aligns behaviors with core values and culture

    Doesn't Recommend
    No opinion of CEO
