Pros

Great people to work for. Managers have a great love for customers and the company as a whole. Even as a part-time employee I desired to work for a company that provided such quality product and had the customer service skills that really made people happy that also encouraged their employees to move up in the brand.

Cons

Retail experience always has its downsides

    Pros

The discount is nice and you have fun with your co- workers and most customers.

    Cons

The work load increases more and more ever quarter and the pay doesn't match. You have to deal with upper management be-rating you and threatening your job. The company used to be people first but it is now all about making your numbers , cutting people's hours and recruiting from larger companies and over looking loyal committed associates and managers. If you don't play the game you can forget about promotion. Upper management does not care about their people, it's only how they can get ahead.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your people. Pay them what their worth, if you expect more you should pay more. Start micro-managing your gm's and dm's , who do you think is doing all the work and making them look good? It's not the gm's and dm's.

    Pros

People first company with great salary and benefits

    Cons

Complex selling processes need protected training for 3 weeks min, poor work/life balance for GM's and computer systems need serious updates 40 min transactions = walk in business ignored for long periods of time

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not over simplify what can be learned on floor vs. longer training for Mgmt
Go back to basics w/ expectations, customers need to come first
