I have been working at Power Integrations full-time (less than an year)

Pros

Friendly, respectful, collaborative ethical company culture with work-life balance. Every Silicon Valley company has hard working, goal-oriented smart people but PI offers much more.

Cons

If leaving PI, most likely will be disappointed with the culture shock of how most other companies are run: unfriendly.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Company culture is the one of the biggest assets.

There are a lot of managers at Power Integrations with long term employees. Engineers are treated very well here.

    Pros

Great office environment with some very nice, hardworking people who have been there a long time. They reward their long term employees verbally at each quarterly meeting.

    Cons

If you are not good in politics, you will not be a good fit for this culture, especially at the executive level. Its a put up or shut up culture. Don't make noise or else you will be "shushed".

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend less time in COG meetings fighting with each other over nonsense and more time empowering your teams.
