    Pros

Great experience and learning opportunity. The company will give you all the responsibility you can Handel if your a go getter. You can even be promoted quickly to L5, maybe L4 if your agressive and move around.

    Cons

Once you hit L5/L4 after 10 years, you are pretty much done. Being promoted to L3 is like winning the lottery. Doing an exceptional job and taking on everything that is thrown at you only gets you into the lottery. Unless someone is ok with doing great work and having nearly zero prospect of promotion, you will need to leave the company. Pay is also well below market rate at every level.
20% of people do 80% of the work but these top performers are rewarded marginally higher then the rest of the pool.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Narrow the gap between L4 and L3 and allow for continued upward mobility. Pay your performers.
