I have been working at Praxair full-time

    Pros

Excellent financial results compared with Industrial gas competitors, good emphasize on safety, clean work environment. Mid size company gives reasonable exposure to upper management.

    Cons

Extremely misogynistic environment! Few women are supported to make it to the upper layers of the organization; discrepancy between promotions and salaries between women and man are significant. R&D career opportunities are limited; advancement is based more on "YES -MAN " attitude rather than technical and hard working merit. Salaries are below average from what industry offers nationwide.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better communication on the vertical axis!

    Neutral Outlook
    Approves of CEO
