Pretty good company to work for, not a lot of room for advancement due to it's size.
    Great Safety Awareness.

    I worked at Praxair

    Pros

Very good employees, good programs for work/life balance or any issues you may have, good feedback from supervisors.
Tafa always had good benefits. Great empoloyee activities, (this said from someone who doesn't get any now)
Good Profit Sharing Plan and 401K. Excellent safety program.

    Cons

No communication from upper management which enforces a rampant rumor mill. Since Praxair, Inc. bought them it turned into another huge company where you just become a profit maker. Tafa doesn't see any of the benefits of being part of a multi-million dollar company. (Praxair) I was finally making a decent hourly wage for the area (still low comparatively speaking) but I had been there 10+ years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

COMMUNICATE/FAIRNESS BETWEEN MAIN CO. AND SUBSIDIARIES
