Great entry level job to learn the ins and outs of being a staff accountant. Fast paced and get to deal with people from all different walks of life.

Cons

Senior management is incompetent. They have no understanding of what their subordinates are doing. Always use their subordinates as scapegoats for management's mistakes. No benefits, long hours, no paid vacation, and no holidays off. Management has no respect for their employees and does not care about them at all. Be ready for a lot of yelling. Job can become repetitive.

Advice to Senior Management

Respect your employees and upgrade your systems. It is very hard to manually enter in data for thousands of accounts when it is possible to avoid mistakes by automating the process. Give employees some time off, even one day a month to avoid employees being burned out and reduce a very high turnover rate.
