Premiere Global Services – “Could be so much better”
Pros
Benefits, PTO, awesome coworkers, casual dress environment, salary, OT opportunities
Cons
No 401k match (going on 4 yrs now), lack of coherent communication within department, lack of professional training for managers, lack of consistency from management, new office is designed poorly, lack of communication & understanding between departments, abrupt tech rollouts (and rollbacks)
Advice to Senior Management
Some managers are really great and some are not. A lot of complaints about managers could be resolved with some training in giving reviews/feedback (review process is needlessly repitive & sometimes you are surprised with things on an annual review that were never mentioned during the year) and monitoring for consistency. Also, don't use that designer for anymore buildings - or please include some operators in the planning sessions. There's lots of wasted space in our new(er) building at the same time as we lack a lot of functional space for our everyday duties - very frustrating combo. Finally, big issues are often resolved but little ones are left to languish. Each little issue is not a big deal in itself, but they're so easily taken care of that the frustration of dealing with these things for weeks/months/years is huge. Example: office supplies. Why do I have to ask my manager for a pen every time my current pen (singular) runs out of ink? Are we adults or small children?
