I worked at Premiere Global Services full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

Excellent sales teams.
Good work culture.
Strong financials.
Above-average benefits.
Excellent HR department.
Excellent financial department.

Cons

No career path, very few employees are actually promoted. Company is in middle of transition from a telecommunications company to a SaaS industry provider, and thus has a bit of an identity crisis. Senior management could be a lot stronger, particularly in developing associates and providing more structured career paths. Product development and innovation are weak.

    I appreciated that as an employee, I felt like I was an individual opposed to just a number. I had a sense of self worth.

    The company is not the best at communicating changes.

    Supervisor promised a good review upon termination, but withheld earned vacation wages upon separation.

    Pros

    Some people know what they are doing. Telecommute is about the only thing they have going for them. sometimes they have free lunch.

    Cons

    This company has codified vacation theft. BEWARE! their use it or lose it policy is strictly enforced, and they dont pay out vacation upon termination.
    In nine months, I was so overloaded i didnt even have a chance to think about vacation. But since they make you work Christmas week, i planned on using it then. Big MISTAKE!
    This fat cat corporate dinosaur screws its people as a matter of policy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    stop screwing people out of vacation pay. Provide frequent constructive feedback and benchmarks for success. get rid of sick time and replace it with PTO. Provide backup personnel and equipment for peak activity times. Stop catering to premadonnas.
