Pros

Lots of clients to work with, variety of mental health issues, excellent support staff

Cons

Expect you to work more hours than you get paid for without extra compensation, management micromanages and at times harasses you, some workers are favored, limited support, cares more about money than client care, does not care about the well-being of staff

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better training for supervisors on how to be effective leaders and how to increase morale

    Pros

    Positive communication with supervisor and other staff; encouraging, motivating; there is room for advancement in most positions; overall a great company to be employed by.

    Cons

    It was a grant funded program and the grant wasn't renewed. The travel was a big factor that affected time managment.

    Pros

    Some caring individuals and some internal trainings (barely and no focus on application or tracking use of learned ideas)

    Cons

    Low pay
    Unprofessional Directors
    Back-biting, gossiping supported rather than addressed by management
    No direction for supervisors but many, many unspoken expectations
    Expectations of supervisors' relationship with staff not role modeled in any way by supervisors managersm(i.e. managers had poor relational skills but expected wonderful relations of supervisors with their staff)
    Directors handle issues with supervisors staff without including supervisor, encouraging employees to ignoremthe management structure
    No concern for health and well being of staff sufferingmfrom serious afflictions
    Double standards
    Directors change minds contamtly without sharing with superisors and then get angry when supervisormdoesn't know
    Absolutely NO interest in improving clinical ability of staff
    Absolutely NO attempts to work with staff not meeting expectations or even let them know they require improvement
    Barely any and poor outcome measures which are easy to manipulate to make programs look good

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Accept,that evidence-based practice is better and the future
    Be the type of employee you want your staff to be
    Share concerns early so employees can correct
    Allow supervisors to work towards program improvements
