Good learning experience at first and monotonous after that.

I have been working at Primerica full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

Company targets under-served market with quality product lines.

Cons

The company focuses on each agent's warm market and has no lead process at all implemented from the corporate level which would help drive production

Advice to ManagementAdvice

put our name out there and advertise using radio/television/social media. The company, whether it's touted or not, is COMPLETELY focused on recruiting/showing the opportunity to large numbers. Stop moving into different product lines and focus on assisting more with the licensing/recruiting aspect of the business.

I have been working at Primerica part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Become licensed as a life insurance sales agent, can get investments license. If you are good at sales there is potential to make money.

    Cons

Sneaky practices. Recruit people through weekly meetings that make the job seem really easy to make a ton of money. Ask you to call your close friends and family and not tell them anything about what you are selling but just that its something great and they need to sit down with your manager and he will explain everything They say its not a multi level marketing structure but it is. Money you make is all about the number of sales you can make and the number of people under you who you have recruited and the sales you make.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Should make it clear what the job actually is and what skills are actually required and give people the proper training. You just recruit anybody regardless of there background or skills because in the end you know you can just use their connections for possible sales leads.

I have been working at Primerica as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

Free education in starting, building, and maintaining a business. Free education on how to "sell" without strong arming or using deceptive tactics. Positive attitudes from team mates, supportive environment where people actually want you to succeed. Accessability to million dollar business owners who treat you like a valued member not a lower life form. Some of the best services for middle income families to help them stop merely survivng and learn to thrive.

    Cons

Training is not consistant across the board. If your RVP doesn't work with you find a mentor that will before quitting.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Too much Rah rah rah enthusiasm comes across fake and gives a solid company with solid values a bad impression to new people. Tone it down ~ the services and business model speak for themselves the hype is not needed.
