I worked at Primrose Retirement Communities full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The properties are gorgeous, nice, and beautiful.

    Cons

No trust, no appreciation. Owners think they are above everyone else, and treat all home office staff poorly. No training. Very poor culture at the home office. Very poor salary.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Remember that your success comes from all the "little people" doing a great job everyday. Owners need to show they care, and not just put on that front in front of investors.

I worked at Primrose Retirement Communities part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

They gave me an opportunity when I could not find other work. It was always a joy working with the elder population. No lifting :)

    Cons

understaffed - CNA's cleaned residents rooms, performed CNA duties, and acted as dietary aides. It would benefit residents if they had a minute to sit and just visit with staff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

how much does the executive director do? what is being delegated?
