I have been working at Princeton HealthCare

    Pros

PHCS offers the opportunity to do meaningful, rewarding work. There is a nice variety of different settings to work in and different populations that you can engage with. A significant percentage of your fellow employees are compassionate, dedicated professionals.

    Cons

Senior management and the human resources department want you to believe that they will help you to succeed and try to resolve issues in a fair and objective manner. Unfortunately, you can't really count on that. Instead, the culture is poisoned by personality issues and petty grudges. In my opinion there is a systematic abuse of power. If you work there and run into problems, DO NOT trust the stated corporate compliance policies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Staff are afraid of upper management. While I worked there employees actually were asked to rate their supervisors "anonymously". However, in completing the survey employees are identified by their job title and which program they worked in. No one was willing to report what they really thought, for fear their managers would be able to figure out who said what.. It is a very oppressive and discouraging environment.

    Cons

Some of the senior managers play politics more than manage

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work on communicating what is going on. I know you think you do...but you don't.
