I have been working at Princeton Review as a contractor (more than 3 years)

Pros

pay is good considering no experience is really necessary
opportunity to be promoted and take on new tasks
rewarding to see your students' scores improve

Cons

you only get paid 10-20% of what the clients pay which feels inappropriate at times
random hours and workloads
sometimes too much of a "one size fits all" approach that you have to teach
management doesn't seem to know as much as some tutors do about the actual strategies - but they should sit in on training
you will likely not know your colleagues

Advice to ManagementAdvice

more benefits/bonuses based on outcomes, more

I worked at Princeton Review as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

There are some extremely talented and knowledgeable people working at TPR. Many of them are passionate about their field, and invest themselves in knowing their product and their market. It is somewhat of an elitist market, as services are not affordable for all students, but you know that you are really making a difference for students who apply themselves to their courses.

    Cons

Solutions are not workable for all markets. Pricing is prohibitive for many districts, and many parents.
