I have been working at Princeton University full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

People at Princeton are down to Earth and very hard working. This is not true for everyone, but many of the students and faculty have a sense of humility. The grade delation policy definitely keeps the students' egos in check.

    Cons

Grade deflation is difficult to deal with, especially for students who are used to being at the top of their classes in high school.

    Advice to Management

Give better feedback to students. Grade feedback is the worst part of Princeton's undergraduate education. It varies by department, but it should be standardized to a degree.

  2. A Great Place to Study

    Pros

The university takes very good care of its people. Excellent health care coverage, a beautiful environment, surrounded by interesting people. Many extracurricular programs for personal and professional development.

    Cons

It is quiet. Town is a gem, but small and a bit boring after a while. Housing in town is expensive.
