I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great people, affordable cost of living, great brands, great training

    Cons

Start at the bottom, slow to move up, little growth in the US means folks in the emerging markets get promoted much faster

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You need to fix the career promotion process, if it's up or out, then it's up or out... I don't think you should be allowed to be a Brand Manager for more than 4 years... if you cant get promoted then you need to go, same with AD and MD (and above). The promote from within system only works if you can keep the train moving, or else you will only have people that are from Cinci (or don't care about waiting for 15 years to make MD) staying in P&G.
