Former Employee - Assistant Brand Manager

I worked at Procter & Gamble full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Learning Brand Management from the company that created it
    - State of the Art knowledge comes pouring in every day
    - Very competitive yet friendly environment

    Cons

    - Too slow
     - Extremely short-sighted. The need for quarterly earnings trumps everything, compromising the future. The evaluation system is also based on short term objectives, which doesn´t help fixing this

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Evaluation system that binds the professional to future results of their brand or position, even after they moved to another assignment

Former Employee - Intern in Makati City (Philippines)

I worked at Procter & Gamble as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

-The culture is very collaborative; common notion that it is cutthroat is untrue.
-Culture is flat; organizational hierarchy does not get in the way of building relationships.
-The internship program is well-developed. Objectives and milestones are well-set.
-Managers are very good mentors, providing specific feedback for improvement.
    -Work-life balance is given premium.

    Cons

-Relatively heavy workload, as compared to other internship programs in other companies.
    -Post-internship feedback takes rather long.
-Job openings within the Company after the internship are limited, given low attrition rates.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the good work! The internship program is very well-structured as it is.
