Former Employee - Intern in Caracas, Capital District (Venezuela)

I worked at Procter & Gamble full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Continous training, excellent support for all activities, above the normal benefits and salary. Ability to grow.

Cons

Lots of time consuming, burocratic and sometimes too leader-subjective decision making. Slow growing because of too big scale.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Trust more on hardwork of lower level employees than in subjective high level by the thumb/hunch decisions.

Former Employee - R&D Section Head in Egham, England (UK)

I worked at Procter & Gamble full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Excellent tradition and training, lots of opportunities to experience new things, genuinely smart people and always principle-driven.

    Cons

Very inward-looking, risk-adverse and terrible at making decisions. Consensus is usually by committee. Also tends to treat everyone as generalist unless one consciously carves out a specialist role.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take some leaps of faith and trust the intelligence of your talented people.
