    Great people to work with

    Cons

Often low tolerance for risk taking
Highly matrixed organization structure sometimes blurs responsibility space for decision making

Encourage a more entrepreneurial culture and risk taking to expand the portfolio with more radical ideas

I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    Brilliant co-workers
Exposure to all levels of the company
    Great training
    Ability to own your destiny

    Cons

Career mapping has previously not been a priority
Management will keep you in a position even if it isn't best suited to your skills - people who aren't well suited to their job makes work difficult at times. Often a person has to chose to move on even if it is clear to all around them that they are set up for success.
As with any business job, you must be involved in "extra-curricular" events to get your "brand" known.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Value all levels in the company, not just the ones that seem to directly inflate your NOS. It takes all levels to reach your desired sales. For every great pitch, there is an army that enacts it.
