Current Employee - Anonymous Employee in Toronto, ON (Canada)

I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

use to be about the employees are the #1 asset, about changing lives or making a difference, use to be a place i felt opportunities were all around. Now it's seems way more about the reputation of working for PG Canada then really them doing anything to keep you happy. Great work from home options, but they aren't trying to unleash the employee's potential, it's more about just doing enough to keep you there, or remain a stepping stone in your career.

    Cons

they promote from within, but consistently parachute managers in from other countries. Opportunities in the Canadian head office are smaller and smaller. Move to US or leave the company

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

work on focusing on the people again, on building great leaders, the $ will come vs the other way around

    Cons

Company may be too fast-paced, hence managers may be too busy to coach
