Pay Discrepancies are Biggest Drawback

Associate Brand Manager (Current Employee)
Cincinnati, OH

ProsThe work is challenging, but rewarding.

ConsPay descrepancy between different ABMs is definitely the worst part of the job. Undergrad ABMs come in at $60,000 per year (in 2007 at least) while MBAs come in at $85,000. This $25,000 per year difference does not change until you have been at the company for 5+ years. DO NOT WORK HERE AND GO GET YOUR MBA UNLESS YOU QUIT AND GO TO GRAD SCHOOL FULL TIME.

Advice to Senior ManagementWork out pay discrepancies between junior employees and work to promote your top talent regardless of time at level (as is the case with 'winning brand building')
