I worked at Procter & Gamble full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Great school to learn best practices and the power of branding. The invest significant amount of resources in training and if you are willing to put the effort you'll see rewards.

Cons

Very risk adverse! lots of money left on the table. Cincinnati is the center of their universe, sadly not an aspirational place to move your family to.

DOn't let PSRA run the company

I worked at Procter & Gamble full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great Training and will set you up for success whatever you decide to do in the long term. People are great and friendly and it's easy to make friends if you are moving there as the majority of people are not from Cincinnati.

    Cons

Massive company with massive process. You have a pretty set career track and can only move as fast as the company let's you regardless of performance. I was promoted in my time there and was then told that it was a minimum of 4 years before that could happen again and so it was a bit of a disincentive for people that can be really ambitious.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Break some of the processes to try some new and innovative things in digital marketing. Rely less on agencies and develop your own "gut" for what could work.
