    Pros

    Open collaborative environment, friendly co-workers, overall relaxed environment, you can be your own boss, overall competitive PTO and Health benefits, growing company, ability to work in different client environments.

    Cons

    Large disparity in pay across the company even in same positions within departments. Do not always reward exceptional employees adequately or provide enough opportunities for advancement, almost no training opportunities or ability to attend conferences. Almost no real team building activities within some departments. Could be better with communicating information within departments. People often kept in the dark until last minute. Examples include people being laid-off with little or no warning or people being hired at much higher salaries externally with no opportunity given to current employees only for the company to have to fire the external hire within a few months. Some departments very hypocritical with higher management asking employees to be in the office every day when they work from home every day. No opportunity to negotiate or debate raise or bonus during annual reviews - already locked in. Many cost cutting measures have adversely affected employees in recent months with such things as not being able to upgrade old laptops which slow down daily productivity and a new phone system which has had its share of issues.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Open communication within departments - transparency. Reward your exceptional employees. Allow your employees some say into their salary increases and bonuses.

    I have been working at Procurian full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    It's a place that really grew up quickly which means that it's getting to be a larger company with its roots still as a small company. that means that you need to really know how to contribute, be visible, and lead; some strong visionaries are very willing to encourage and promote talents from within; it's your job to be out there and proactively contributing and wait for those opportunities which come up often. very involved in technology and its great to see them constantly trying to make it better

    Cons

    no formal training or certification programs or classes; you really need to learn most things on your own;
