Pros

Great company, great people! Proofpoint is full of people that are great to work with. The Utah office especially.

Cons

Big company, too much red tape. I didn't appreciate the amount of red tape I had to go through to get things done.

Advice to Management

Less top down, more transparency

    Pros

The technology is interesting. The frequency of outages gives one ample opportunities to learn new troubleshooting skills.

    Cons

Being stuck working for incompetent managers is an all to common problem. HR is beyond worthless and have no clue what is going on.

    Advice to Management

Revamp the corporate travel policies and put some effort into building out an effective HR department. Operations management needs to go.
