Pros

As a smaller company, Provell provides a tremendous amount of opportunity for professional growth and development in terms of taking on projects that you might not get a chance to work on at a larger company. Employees are encouraged to make suggestions and bring forth new ideas to expand and improve the business.

Because Provell offers a variety of lifestyle and affinity membership programs, the work is always fresh, new and different. One day you might be working on an exercise and fitness program, and the next you might work on vacation travel. There isn't a lot of time to get bored with your work. I don't know that I could go back to working for a "one-note" company after Provell.

Cons

Provell prides itself on a very structured work environment and adheres to a high degree of professional decorum, so if you prefer a more laid-back and casual work environment, Provell is probably not the place for you. Provell is not the place for the complacent, or someone looking merely to coast. Expectations for job performance and quality of work product are very high. Attention to detail is a must!

Advice to Senior Management

I would encourage more interdepartmental communication, build more transparency so that various areas of the organization are informed about what other departments are working on. Improving communication about initiatives and results would be my number one recommendation, perhaps via a monthly email. It's a fast-paced environment and employees are more engaged and invested when they are informed and feel like they are a part of something "big."
