Pros

Generous compensation, great employee benefits and flexible work schedules. Plenty of employee activities, lavish department bonding events and in some cases weekly company paid lunches.

Cons

Lack of department leadership, communication and focus. Promotions are dependent on being in the good graces of the right clique and not based on merit. Decision sometimes make no sense or the vision is not shared which makes it difficult to meet the goal of a project.

Advice to Management

The parent company needs to start over, the forecast growth will not happen with the current leadership. Listen to those closest to the issues.

  1. Good place to work if you're one of the "cool" people. If not look elsewhere.

    Pros

Most people are nice. Some backstabbers but that's at any job. Great facilities and the perks are free lunch and goodies during peak season.

    Cons

Management only promotes the people they like or have similar interests. You get tested periodically and if you don't contest the scores you WILL be marked lower than your actual performance. Then when you go to higher-ups for help they make sure to go out of their way to single you out. Everyone knows who is doing what so they have ways to get you written up or terminated. If you are heterosexual, conservative and male your chances for advancement are slim.

    Advice to Management

Get manager with experience and clean house. The old guard are destroying the morale and business model from within. There is a reason the top 3 executives all left at the same time last year.

  2. Easy job if you want extra money.

    Pros

Easy customer service phone job for decent hourly pay with flexible schedule, helpful supervisors, nice building, and free lunch/dinner.

    Cons

The job only lasted 2 weeks (seasonal). They should give each worker more hours instead of hiring like 700 workers.

    Advice to Management

I never really had chance to talk to managers. I don't really care for them.
