Large corporate entity trying to figure out mission (old theme) vs place in world/profit (newer theme)

    Pros

depending on which department, there can be good work/life balance. starting salaries can be competitive. mission on paper is inspiring

    Cons

moving target as to why we are here. negotiate in high, as salary increases (even during promotions) are ridiculously low and non-competitive. bureaucracy can make it very difficult to know who to ask for what. good old boys club is in formation at the top

    Advice to Management

scrub in, get out and talk with your providers and staff and remember why we are here. annual raises, bonus structures and promotion increases are in dire need of address

    Pros

Still a fan of the mission but not sure the company is still devoted to its own values.

    Cons

Used to be very mission driven and dedicated to helping all people. Now seems like it is all about the bottom line and politics.
