Provincial Airlines – “A job that pays the bills - hopefully not a life sentence”

Pros

The salary is decent - but the salary the expectations are high. Medical insurance coverage is very good for Newfoundland. Pal has a fairly young workforce.

Cons

The company likes to cut corners which makes it very stressful on it employees. Most employees are unhappy in their jobs and you can feel it in the workplace which makes it uncomfortable. The company does not have a union but is in dire need of one to help bring safety back onto the floor. It is nothing for this company to expect a lot of overtime in what should be a regulated due to the nature of the work.

Advice to Senior Management

Listen to your employees: not the ones that have your ear everyday, but the real employees who are doing the work.
