Pros

It's low stress and it's a paycheck.

Cons

No growth opportunities. Don't expect anything more than a paycheck for as long as the gig lasts.

    Shortage of better jobs in the industry.

    Cons

    Company does not care much for employees. It is about who they contract with and how they care for their client. This is just my personal experience and may be different with other contracts.

    I have been working at Publicis Selling Solutions

    Pros

    Compensation is good but below other contract companies. Benefits and health insurance is good. Low stress, very flexible, no micro-management.

    Cons

    Bonuses are pretty low and not all your scripts are counted if they aren't written on label ( I was on Pfizer contract, not sure if it's different on others.) Direction by management is extremely hazy since you have 2 different managers. Since this is a contract position you are constantly worried about having a job when big town hall conferences are held.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Tell it like it really is. Don't make everything sound so positive if you know that 80% of your sales force will be cut, for example the "established products unit" that all P4 reps were being transitioned to. That was 2 months of waiting to be switched over with such positive outlook that could have been spent seriously looking for other work.
