I worked at Publishers Circulation Fulfillment

Pros

There are some really great people who work at this company.

Cons

Lots of work, constant turnover, and always trying to do more with less. Tough hours and long shifts. There is a disconnect between the field and upper managment

I have been working at Publishers Circulation Fulfillment full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There are many benefits, and incentives. The people that work or the company are wonderfull. They seem to have wonderful values and morals, I would not trade my collugues for the world! The company offers quarterly recognition awards, and annual COLA increases. The location is in an easily accessable part of MD, and the mall is only a few minutes away.

    Cons

There may be a lot of travel involved depending on your position.

Poor use of talent, lack of movement within the company, and disassociation of management from the average workers.

I worked at Publishers Circulation Fulfillment full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Because of the rigid protocols, the work is fairly piece-meal. Each employee has a limited number of specific tasks. Good company to work for for entry level positions.

    Cons

No possibility of raise or promotion; too rigidly following job description - poor use of workplace talents.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen more carefully to the people working for you; not just the people in the management positions, but keep an eye out. If people go out of their way to avoid a particular employee, find out why. If one employee is providing technical help to the rest of the staff, without working in IT, find out the problems of working with IT.
