I have been working at Puget Sound Energy

    Pros

The biggest pro is probably stability. The company has been around for a long time, and how many other places still offer pensions?

    Cons

It can be difficult to move up or find support for trying new things. Stagnation happens.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on employee development and help long term employees realize their career goals in order to retain quality staff

I have been working at Puget Sound Energy full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great benefits and a lots of opportunity to learn. I have worked with a lot of really good, really dedicated people.

    Cons

There have been a lot of shake-ups lately and that has impacted morale. PSE is very old school when it comes to career progression. You can learn a lot if you want to, but learning and excelling will not get you promoted unless someone above you happens to leave. We lose a lot of good people because of this.

    No opinion of CEO
