Pulte Homes – “Overall, a pretty good place to work”

Pros

The company strives to provide the best product for the customers. It goes above and beyond the competition to make sure that they build quality houses. The culture is great and for the most part employees are treated well, and a recognised for their performance.

Cons

Currently, its the state of economy, however I believe Pulte Homes will be one of the few homebuilders who will make it through. There is too much emphasys on receiving good survey scores. As a result dissatisfied consumers are treated better and can obtain more services than those who did not complain. It seems that some departments' whole job is chasing after those scores.

Advice to Senior Management

Provide more cross-training opportunities for entry and mid-level personnel.
