Pros

Strong, transparent senior leadership. In a great position both financially and product offering for when the market begins to strengthen.

Cons

Home sales is a 7 day a week business. Weekend work is required. It is essentially retail so you must be in the office no matter whether there are customers coming in the door or not.

Advice to Senior Management

As can be expected there have been many cuts in staffing. At this point only the top performers remain however there is little to no visible effort to retain them. Given the current market top salespeople are not rushing to the homebuilding industry. That being said, those who remain need to be paid more and given more flexibility of work hours or they will leave for those companies and industries that will meet those needs.
