Pros

One of Pure Technologies strongest points is the high caliber of employee working for the company. These employees are what makes up the great atmosphere and has lead to the companies success. As the industry leader in the condition assessment field of pressurized pipelines, Pure is poised to continue its success.

Cons

A high rate of growth over the last few years has lead to certain growing pains. Reacting to double digit growth has not been an easy transition.

Advice to Management

Must continue to listen to employes in order to manage these growing pains.

    Pros

Lots of travel, lots of opportunity to take on new roles and large amounts of responsibility early on. Great culture, with a team-first approach, and plenty of sources for advice and assistance. Managers and higher-ups have grown with the company as well, so there is a great continuity of knowledge and experience. As the company grows, change in roles and opportunities is a constant. Multiple office locations around North America and the globe, and positive attitudes and hard-working effort to be found in each one.

    Cons

As the company continues to expand, there are growing pains. Role definition, and appropriate salaries based on responsibilities, is currently lacking.

    Advice to Management

Do not lose sight of who is out executing the business, and consider their needs and wants as the business grows!

    Pros

    - Amazing, hard-working people with extremely positive outlooks create a welcoming, calming work environment. - Everyone is very approachable and patient with new employees. - A lot of travelling within North America. Occasionally, overseas work presents itself as well. - 75$/day per diem while travelling and executing inspections. - Every 10 straight days of field work gives you an extra vacation day. - Full benefits - Experience working around other engineers and technicians. - Constantly changing work environments and tasks. - Safety training and protocols are outstanding. - Company stability is great

    Cons

    - Often, hours are ridiculous. Sporadic night shifts are well known to exceed over 20 straight hours of work. NO OVERTIME PAY. - Have to be able to tolerate working with waste water. $200 bonus every 5 days..... - Way too many overhead and upper management positions and not enough competent project managers and technicians to actually complete work. - Not nearly enough time to complete tasks.

    Advice to Management

    - Pay your employees for the hours they work. Sounds pretty basic...It's hard, as a member of operations staff, to not constantly feel like I'm being ripped off and taken advantage of. - The waste water bonus needs to fairly address the amount of work hours and tasks. - Hire more operations staff, or reassess the value of experience already present.
