I have been working at PwC

Pros

Big firm perks and lots of opportunities to work on exciting client projects. Met lots of good hardworking people that were fun to work with.

Cons

Lots of travel and pay was a bit low compared to others. Promotion process was very political and seemed unfair at times.

    I worked at PwC

    Pros

    - Lots of very smart people committed to professional development
    - Very professional in terms of approach and client service
    - Extensive network of people and knowledge

    Cons

    - Management who are disconnected from the delivery of projects, who underquote jobs, over promise to clients, refuse to let you bill the full number of hours you work.
    - Very cold culture - very little in the way of genuine people
    - Poor benefits for a firm of this standing. Expected more and better training, salary and associated beneifts are comparatively low ... very litte in the way of additional benefits

I worked at PwC full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Misery loves company, so there was always a lot of company. Made lots of good friends and contacts.

    Cons

Lots of backstabbing. It was always made clear that "sh*t flows downhill" and they truly preached that. Management would place blame on those below them to cover their own inadequacies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Nothing will ever change in this business model, so why bother providing advice?

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
