    Approves of CEO

I worked at PwC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Good perks; like 1 week shut down during Christmas season - Flex time for admin professionals - Their brand is highly respected in the Finance industry - Company is strong and growing.. one feels job security

    Cons

    - Assistants do not get promoted into other roles. Once you're an assistant, you pretty much stay there - Low morale among assistants, but do not share it publicly - Unrealistic performance and rating system. Keeps people off getting decent raises or small bonuses. - Partners can be insignificant to their admin support. They create a high wall around them sending message of "I'm up here, you are down there". Lots of EAs feel that way. - Support ratio (5:1) does not equate compensation. - Very hard to be friendly with people. People can be very indifferent to establishing relationships. - Too big. Too many layers..

    Advice to Management

    - Performance systems for Executive Assistants should change. Perhaps use a survey system like many of the big banks or competitors. - Partners need to learn how to connect with their EAs as they are their first line of defense.
