  1. Overall a good company, however the culture is not very open and the firm is highly risk averse in every capacity.

I have been working at PwC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good name, good retirement and vacation benefits. Growing rapidly in Advisory which should create career options.

    Cons

Technology is horrible. Firm uses Lotus, reuse of IP is severely limited by bad search tools, laptops are loaded down with junk programs that make startup take 15 minutes. Healthcare plans push more cost to the employees. I ended up using my wife's work plan. Firm is not as open or collaborative as it would like people to believe

I worked at PwC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent salary, great benefits, looks impressive on a resume when you leave, recruited heavily from my undergraduate institution, will pay for your CPA, and provides opportunities to learn a lot.

    Cons

Demand lots of hours and travel, not the most exciting coworkers, not as well paid as other jobs that require long hours and travel (i.e., Investment Banking, Management Consulting, etc.), unfulfilling at times, entry-level position often requires low level work.
