Current Employee - Human Resources Manager in Los Angeles, CA

    Pros

Great company benefits, great company culture philosophy, and powerful presence in professional services

    Cons

Lots of work, compensation can be low given level of effort. Did I mention a LOT of work? Little recognition from senior leadership. Very political - who you know, not what you know.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Very hierarchical and political to be efficient sometimes. Less passive aggressive reviews and feedback. More realistic work loads.

Current Employee - Associate in New York, NY

    Pros

Learning opportunities are great at PwC. They invest heavily in training and development of staff. Sometimes you will find someone in the company that will offer you the best support you could ever imagine. Great resumer booster

    Cons

    - Can become pigeon holed, so make sure to make your career ambitions widely known
-NO work life balance whatsoever, long 2+ hour commutes after 11 pm is not ideal. Managers do not understand how much stress they put on employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't treat your employees like robots. Work on making this a sustainable job, instead of pushing associates away. Learn to solve the senior staffing shortage.
