This was the best carrier choice I ever made - to join PwC Management Consulting ( before the IBM acquisition).

Pros

Intrelligent people, top quality product/output, top pay and a literal growing field of new knowledge and experiential learning. Flat organizational structure. Empowered people at all levels. Exciting and creative environment.

Cons

So much travel and time spent away from the family made work life balance very difficult.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Project managers were weak in people/organizational management.

I have been working at PwC full-time

    Pros

You surely get to work with fortune 500 clients and are exposed to various levels of management and a variety of ERPs used by the clients you are auditing. Benefits include good vacation and benefit package, unlimited sick days, cell phone bills paid for, gift cards for exercising and for other healthy habits. If you can get past the long working hours, it is a great place to start your career.

    Cons

As is well know about big 4 firms, busy season is usually 50 - 60 hours, sometimes also consumes the weekend. The work environment is fast paced and cut throat. Your success in the firm depends on the type of teams and type of managers you work with.
